আমার ভাবনায় যা কিছু আসে তা লিখে ফেলি। কবিতা, ছড়াকাব্য, প্রবন্ধ লিখতে পছন্দ করি। জীবনে বয়ে যাওয়া ছোট-বড় ঘটনাগুলো লিখে রাখাকে ভুল মনে করি না, এও ভাবি না যে- অনাগত কাল তা কিভাবে গ্রহণ করবে! মনে ও চোখে ভেসে ওঠা নীতিকথাগুলো লিখতে ভুল করি না। আমার ডাইরীর পাতা, সেলফোন ও ল্যাপটপ যেনো কথা কয় অবিরত! লেখালেখি করাটা আমার খুবই পছন্দনীয়, এক রকম নেশায় পরিণত হয়েছে। আবার পছন্দ বললেও কিছুটা ভুল হবে, অনেকটা লেখার প্রয়োজনেই লিখি। প্রয়োজনটা হলো- ভাবনাগুলো যাতে হারিয়ে না যায় ও অনাগত কাল যেনো আমার ভাবনার সাক্ষী থাকে।
ঘরে-বাইরে, হাঁটতে চলতে, শুয়ে-বসে যখনই কিছু ভাবনায় আসে তা সাথে সাথে লিখে ফেলি। তবে যা কিছু লিখেছি ও লিখবো, তা হলো- আমার একান্ত নিজস্ব মতবাদ, ভালোলাগার কথা, ভালোবাসার কথা, চোখ যা দেখে, মন যা বোঝে, যা কিছু ঘটে আর যা কিছু পাই। তবে সামনের দিনগুলো আমায় কী দিবে- তা নিয়ে লেখা তো দূরের কথা, ভাবতেও ভয় পাই। লেখায় সব সময় অধর্ম, অসত্য ও অসুন্দরকে একেবারেই পরিহার করি। তবে সত্য লিখতে ভয় তো নয়-ই, লজ্জাটুকুও নেই আমার।
আমি ভালোবাসি বাংলার মা, মাটি ও মানুষকে। এই বাংলার প্রকৃতি ও জনপদের অপরূপ রূপ-বৈচিত্রে মুগ্ধ হয়ে আমি ভুলে যাই প্রিয়তমার রূপের মুগ্ধতাকে। ভালোবাসি ৭১- এ রক্তের বিনিময়ে পাওয়া আমার প্রিয় জন্মভূমি বাংলাদেশকে। আমি কথা বলি বাংলায়, চিন্তা করি বাংলায়, পড়ি বাংলায়, স্বপ্নও দেখি এই বাংলায়। এ সকল কিছুই লিখে রাখি বাংলাতে। আমি ভালোবাসি আমার প্রিয় মায়ের শেখানো ও ভাইয়ের বুকের রক্ত দিয়ে কেনা এই বাংলা ভাষাকে। তাই তো প্রিয় বাংলার মর্যাদা রক্ষার স্বার্থে বলতে চাই- যা কিছু লিখি তা যেন সত্য ও সুন্দর হয়।
আমার কোনো লেখনি আপনার ভালো না-ও লাগতে পারে, প্রয়োজনে আপনি এর সমালোচনা কমেন্টের মাধ্যমে করতে পারেন। বাক স্বাধীনতা, চিন্তার বহিঃপ্রকাশ করার অধিকার ও লেখালেখি করার অভ্যাসের জায়গা থেকে আমি যা ইচ্ছা তাই লিখতে পারি। তবে আমি আমার যেকোনো লেখনির ব্যাপারে যথেষ্ট সচেতন যাতে করে শালীনতা বজায় রাখা যায় এবং অন্যের ধর্মীয় অনুভূতি, মূল্যবোধ ও অধিকারের প্রতি যথাযথ সম্মান প্রদর্শন করা যায়।
পরিশেষে এ ব্যাপারে আমি সতর্ক হয়ে আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি যে- আমার লেখায় কোনো কালে কোনোও ভুল এবং কোরআন ও সহিহ হাদিস পরিপন্থী কোন ধারা পাওয়া গেলে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে সেই অংশটুকু বাতিল বলে গণ্য হবে। এ বিষয়ে বিজ্ঞ পাঠক মহল থেকে সুপরামর্শ সাদরে গ্রহণ করার জন্য আমি প্রস্তুত ও আমার উত্তরাধিকারেরা এ ব্যাপারে এমন ফয়সালাই করবেন বলে আশা করি। - লেখক

I write down whatever comes to my mind. I like to write poems, rhymes, and essays. I don't think it is wrong to record the small and big events of life, nor do I worry about how the future will receive them. I also write down the proverbs that come to mind. My diary pages, cellphone, and laptop seem to talk nonstop! Writing is something I enjoy greatly; it has become a kind of addiction. However, it would be a bit wrong to call it merely a preference, because I mostly write out of necessity. The necessity is to ensure that my thoughts are not lost and that the future can witness them.
Whenever something comes to mind—whether at home or outside, walking, lying down, or sitting—I immediately write it down. Everything I have written and will write reflects my personal ideology, words of love, what my eyes see, what my mind understands, everything that happens, and everything I observe. I avoid immorality, falsehood, and ugliness in my writing. Yet, I am not afraid to write the truth, nor am I ashamed of it.
I love the mother, soil, and people of Bengal. I am fascinated by the unique forms and diversity of the nature and villages of Bengal, so much so that I sometimes forget the beauty of my beloved. I love my homeland, Bangladesh, which I gained through the sacrifice of lives in 1971. I speak Bengali, think in Bengali, read in Bengali, and dream in Bengali. I write all these things in Bengali. I love this language, taught by my mother and secured through my brother’s sacrifice. Therefore, in order to protect the dignity of my beloved Bengal, I want to ensure that everything I write is true and beautiful.
You may not like all of my writings; if necessary, you may criticize them through comments. I write freely from the standpoint of freedom of speech, the right to express my thoughts, and my habit of writing. I am, however, sufficiently aware of my writings to maintain decency and show respect for the religious feelings, values, and rights of others.
Finally, I would like to warn that if any mistake or section contrary to the Quran and authentic Hadith is found in my writings at any time, that part will be considered invalid. I am ready to accept good advice from wise readers in this regard, and I hope that my successors will make such decisions wisely.
